Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), Alur Proses Pengolahan Limbah PLTU

Waste Water Treatmnet Plant (WWTP)
adalah sistem pengolahan limbah dari pembangkit yang berupa cairan sisa bekas
seperti cairan bekas operasi dari gas turbine sump pit, desalination plant,
HRSG sump pit, WTP, chemical storage yard pit dan condensate pit dialirkan
menuju ke waste water storage pond
untuk penampungan dan treatment pertama, disini limbah cair di aerasi oleh waste water storage pond blower yang
fungsinya menghembuskan udara ke bawah penampungan untuk kebutuhan O2
mikroorganisme pen-degradasi limbah. Kemudian limbah cair dipompa oleh waste water storage pond pump ke
treatment berikutnya yaitu di neutralizing pit 1 yang fungsinya menyempurnakan proses peralatan sebelumnya. Limbah cair
dipompa oleh neutralizing pit pump
menuju ke pH control & cxidation pit supaya treatment
lebih sempurna. Disini cairan limbah dikontrol pH-nya dengan penambahan HCl
dan NaOH serta agar cairan limbah dan pH control homogen diaduk dengan agitator.
Sedangkan untuk membantu mempercepat pengendapan, ditambahkan zat kimia berupa coagulant dan coagulant aid (flocculant)
yang umumnya berupa PAC dan FeCl3. Hasilnya di overflow kan menuju
ke coagulation and sedimentation tank
yang disertai pengadukan lambat untuk mempercepat pengendapan. Dari sini
terdapat 2 produk yaitu yang overflow lewat atas hampir murni cairan dialirkan
menuju ke clear water pit sedangkan
yang berupa padatan (sludge) dipompa oleh cagulation
and sedimentation sludge pump menuju ke sludge enrichment tank, disini juga disertai pengadukan untuk menyempurnakan
proses pembentukan gumpalan. Hasilnya ada 2 yaitu yang berupa cairan di bagian
atas di overflow kan ke neutralizing pit 2
dan yang berupa padatan bagian bawah dipompa oleh sludge enrichment pump menuju ke sludge storage pond. Sebagian sludge dipompa oleh sludge storage pond sischarge pump menuju
ke neutralizing pit 1 untuk proses
penyempurnaan treatment. Hasil overflow dari coagulation and sedimentation tank yang menuju ke clear water pit untuk treatment lagi dan untuk pembersihan dipompa
oleh clear water pit pump menuju ke filter tank yang berisi activated carbon dan media filter (pasir, batu, kerikil dll).
Hasil keluaran dipompa dengan filter tank pump menuju ke neutralizing pit 2
yang mengalami treatment seperti penambahan injeksi kimia NaOH dan HCl untuk
kontrol pH. keluaran yang jelek dikembalikan lagi ke waste water storage pond sedangkan keluaran yang bagus dipompa
oleh neutralizing pit pump menuju ke purified waste water pit yang siap
dibuang ke laut.

Waste Water Storage Pond Blower that function to blowing air into bottom
container for necessity O2 microorganism to degrade waste
water. Then liquid waste water is pumped by Waste Water Storage Pond Pump
into next treatment namely Neutralizing Pit 1 that function to complete
previous process equipment. Liquid waste water is pumped by Neutralizing Pit
Pump to the pH Control & Oxidation Pit so that treatment is more
complete. Here liquid waste water is controlled pH with adding HCl and NaOH
also for homogeneous liquid waste water and pH Control done stirred with
agitator. Whereas to help accelerate the
deposition, added chemical such as Coagulant and Coagulant Aid (Flocculant)
commonly PAC and FeCl3. The result then overflow to the Coagulation
and Sedimentation Tank that slow stirring
to accelerate the deposition. From here, there are 2 products such as upper
overflow and almost pure liquid is transported into Clear Water Pit and sludge is pumped by Coagulation and
Sedimentation Sludge Pump into Sludge Enrichment Tank, here also
accompanied stirring to complete deposition process. The result there are 2 products
such as liquid in the upper layer is done overflow into Netralizing Pit 2
and sludge in the bottom is pumped by Sludge Storage Pond Discharge Pump
to the Neutralizing Pit 1 to complete process. The result overflow from Coagulation
and Sedimentation Tank to the Clear Water Pit for again treatment and to clean
is pumped by Clear Water Pit Pump into Filter Tank that contain Activated
Carbon and Media Filter (sand,
stone and small rocks etc). The out product is pumped with Filter Tank Pump
into Netralizing Pit 2 that doing treatment likes addition chemical injection
NaOH and HCl to pH control, Bad product is returned again into Waste Water
Storage Pond and good product is pumped by Netralizing Pit Pump to the Purified
Waste Water Pit and ready to be discardes to into the sea.
